Dr. Ankur Bahl, a highly respected Medical Oncologist, brings over two decades of clinical and academic experience in cancer care. His journey began with an MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, followed by an MD in Internal Medicine. He further honed his skills with a DM in Medical Oncology from the esteemed All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
To enhance his expertise in medication safety, Dr. Bahl also completed an advanced course on Adverse Drug Reactions, Drug Interactions, and Pharmacovigilance at the University of Oxford, UK.
Dr. Bahl’s clinical focus includes immunotherapy, targeted therapy with chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, and supportive & palliative cancer care. His leadership in landmark clinical studies, such as the largest real-world Indian dataset on Cetuximab in Head & Neck cancer, and his contributions to advancements in Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) treatment protocols, serve as an inspiration in the field of cancer research.
In the field of public health, Dr. Bahl has made significant contributions through epidemiological research. His work, particularly in analyzing HPV prevalence trends in the Indian population, has provided valuable insights that can inform public health policies and cancer prevention strategies.
